Translate your book into 18 languages

Same book. New market. Manuskripta's translator doesn't just swap words — it keeps your book a book: structure, illustrations, formatting, and optionally a fully rebuilt cover in the new language.

The languages

Eighteen in total, and your plan decides which ones you have access to — bigger plans open more languages. The full list is on the pricing page.

What the translation actually preserves

The engine reads segment by segment, keeping voice and terminology consistent across the whole book — so chapter 20 uses the same words for the same ideas as chapter 2 did. A separate pass checks the translation and flags anything questionable — but a machine translation is never a substitute for a human read. Review idioms, cultural references, names and terminology in your target language before you publish.

How to translate

Open the Translator, pick the book, pick the language, choose whether you want a translated cover, and go. The translation runs in the background and shows real progress as it works. You don't wait — start it and go do something else.

Reading and exporting translations

Every translation lives alongside the original in your dashboard, as its own exportable book. You export it the same way you export anything else — PDF, Word, ePub. Same tools, same store-ready files.

Why translate at all?

Because most books are written in one language and bought in many. Spanish, Portuguese and German are huge single-language markets with far less competition per book than English. And Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo and Swahili are languages with hundreds of millions of speakers and vanishingly few professionally produced original titles. Translating one book into eight languages turns one publishing project into eight.
