Paying Made Easy: Checkout Explained
How dollar checkout works, cards accepted, the small payment fee, and what happens right after payment.
Paying made easy
A plan purchase should be the least stressful click of the day — pay, plan activates, you go make a book. Here's exactly how it works.
Paying in dollars
Checkout runs through Flutterwave, one of the most trusted payment platforms on the continent. You pay in USD with your card — debit or credit. Payments are encrypted, the checkout is a secure hosted page, and your card details never touch our servers.
- Visa, Mastercard, Verve debit and credit cards
- Bank transfer options where your region supports them
- Mobile money options in supported markets
The small payment fee, shown upfront
USD card payments carry a 4.8% transaction fee to cover the card-network and payment-platform charges. The checkout shows the total — plan price plus the fee — before you pay, so the amount you see is the amount you approve. There is no surprise line on your statement.
What happens right after payment
Within seconds of paying, your plan activates and your dashboard reflects it — book limits, translation access, everything unlocked to the plan level. A receipt lands in your inbox. If you're a member of a studio, your access updates as well.
Cancelling and renewals
Plans run monthly. If you reach your renewal date and do nothing, the plan renews at the same price and your limits simply continue. Want to upgrade, downgrade or pause? Change your plan in the app at any time — the new limits apply immediately.
