Manuskripta for Teams: Run a Studio, Invite Writers, Share the Work
How studio plans work: what a studio is, member seats, per-member allowances, group chat, and oversight for the owner.
Manuskripta for teams
A studio is Manuskripta's shared workspace — one roof for you and the people you publish with, whether that's a small writing team, a ghostwriting service, a content agency, or a family of authors sharing a subscription.
What a studio gives you
- Shared seats — invite your team members into the studio, up to the seat count on your plan (Silver 3, Gold 5, Diamond 7).
- Everyone works in one place — books, covers, drafts, translations, production state all live in the studio, not scattered across separate personal accounts.
- Group chat, built in — a studio chat channel with text and photo messages, so feedback on a chapter or a cover doesn't have to happen over email or WhatsApp with screenshots.
- Owner oversight — as the studio owner, you decide how much of the plan's features each member may use each month: how many translations, how many covers, how many AI edits. Set their allowances once, and their usage stays inside the lines without you checking in.
- Shared budgets — members draw from the studio's pooled monthly allowance, so the benefit scales with the plan rather than being split.
Who creates what
Every member creates their own books under the studio umbrella. Owners can see studio-wide activity, manage invites, and control the monthly feature allowances. Members see their own work plus anything the studio shares with them. Nobody has to share logins — every member has their own account, seats are just how many can be active at once.
The monthly allowances, in practice
Studio plans carry three pooled allowances the owner allocates: translations, covers, and AI edits. Give a heavy-translation member the bulk of the translation allowance, a cover-design member the covers, let a line editor have the AI edits. It's your allocation, monthly, adjustable on the fly as the team's workload changes.
The ghostwriting and agency case
This is who studios were built for first. A ghostwriter managing five clients, a content agency producing books for brands, a small publisher with a freelance writer pool — the studio model turns a subscription into actual team capacity. One bill, multiple workers, clean monthly accounting, no sharing of logins.
