Editing Your Book: Fix Any Sentence Yourself or Let AI Rewrite It

How to open the editor, hand-polish passages, ask the AI to rework a section, and upload your own images.

Editing your book

Your book isn't locked the moment it's generated. Every chapter lives in the Editor, where you have two kinds of control: change anything by hand yourself, or ask the AI to rewrite a place in the text. Both preserve the book's formatting and design.

Hand edits — you hold the pen

Open any book in the Editor and you can fix any word, sentence or paragraph directly. Hand edits are for when you know exactly what should change: a name is wrong, a sentence should be shorter, a paragraph should be re-ordered, a heading needs to be punchier. They're instant and surgical — you literally type what should stay.

AI rewrites — say what you want instead

Don't want to rewrite a slow section yourself? Point the AI at it. Tell it what to change: 'make this chapter punchier', 'add a real-world example about budgeting', 'cut the fluff, keep the framework'. It rewrites in place, matching the voice and keeping the surrounding text intact. As long as the plan hasn't changed, the book keeps its design and coherence.

Uploading your own images

Already have a chart, diagram or photo you'd rather use? You can upload your own images straight into the Editor and place them where the AI's suggestions sit — or anywhere else. Your images slot into the same page design, so they fit the book's visual language.

After editing, export again

The exported PDF/Word/ePub files always reflect the latest version of the book. Fixed a chapter? Re-export and you have the corrected file. No separate 'publish' step, no version mismatch.

A practical sequence

Books that needed an afternoon of editing after AI generation are the exception, not the rule. But it's good to know you have both levers when you need them.
