Create Your First Book in Under 30 Minutes: A Walkthrough
Every field in the Create Book form explained in plain words, plus a fill-in template for your first description.
Creating your first book
This is a walkthrough of the Create Book screen — everything you can fill in, what each thing does, and the best choices for a first book. Follow it top to bottom and you'll have a book in about half an hour.
The fields, in the order you meet them

| Title | The name of your book. | Name it after your topic and angle. 'The Freelancer's Tax Survival Guide' not 'Book 1'. |
| Description | A short paragraph of what the book covers. The AI reads this to plan better. | Write 1–3 sentences about who the book is for and what it changes for them. The more specific, the better every chapter will be. |
| Chapters | How many chapters you want, up to 100. | 10–15 is a strong first book. Short is faster; you can always add another book. |
| Word count | Target length, in words. | 10,000–20,000 words fills a comfortably-readable book in 6×9 trim. Bigger books take longer. |
| Tones | Pick up to 4 voices for the writing. | Try two complementary ones — e.g. Professional + Conversational. |
| Language | What language the book is written in. | English for a first run. Translating later is one click. |
| Illustrations | Real images placed inside chapters. | Turn on for a few per chapter — one or two per chapter is plenty for a first book. |

A description that writes well
The description field is the highest-leverage 30 seconds of your whole project. It isn't a book blurb — it's a brief. Try this template:
Example: 'This book is for first-time freelancers. It teaches them how to find their first three clients without paid ads, so they can quit the feast-or-famine cycle within 90 days. Unlike other guides, it focuses on outbound outreach that still works in 2026.'
